What is the ‘real’ path to my website; the software I’m trying to use requires it! Print

Due to our use of a chroot environment to separate your data from that of other customers; it does mask the true file path for apps run in SSH sessions; while the webserver itself knows the ‘real’ path.
In general; the real path to your ‘root’ directory in SSH is your system user home directory; which will be /home/vhosts/{SUBSCRIPTION_NAME}/ where {SUBSCRIPTION_NAME} is usually the domain name of your subscription’s initial domain.

You can confirm this path by looking in the Plesk panel for your domain, click PHP Settings in the Dev Tools section. On this page it will tell you the current value of {DOCROOT}, which will be the root of the website for that domain, and is generally what your app is likely to be looking for.
